My question was that we look at 9/11 and go like...'oh no ... how can this happen to us?'. But this CAN and was eventually going to happen. We unfortunately aren't old enough to remember Hiroshima or Vietnam. But people that did, and were shocked and astounded by US actions, as we are now, see 9/11 as a reaction and not a surprise

But another major issue is that, the US only got rid of the control system to the Iraqi society: the Army and Police. The US themselves didn't go around killing 1 million ppl. The Shia vs Sunni conflict did. Imagine if that would happen to the US? Get rid of the army...would people be blowing each other up? NO. It's also ironic because there are probably no two groups of people on the world who are more alike than the Sunni and the Shia. The Shias and Sunni leaders are to blame for this.

Yes I cringe with anger when the Sharia Law stops rapists being persecuted because there weren't four witnesses that saw the rape!
