To be honest I liked this movie, I admit it I liked the movie and here is why. For one they add a mystery as to whether Freddy was innocent or not, it creates suspense which I liked. The introduction of micro naps was also a big improvement from the original, it made the kids more vulnerable to Freddy and it put them in more danger. The dream sequences were also pretty cool. Lastly the actor who played Freddy did a good job, he made Freddy serious again.

The only thing I think Robert did that I actually missed was his laugh from the first film. While I did like Jackie's 'dark chuckle', I loved Robert's laugh far more. I was always instantly in the scene whenever I heard that laugh. I'm looking forward to a sequel

Kids don't randomly make up stories about people diddling them out of nowhere, and that's main reason why this movie fails. They imagination of a child is vast and expansive but it maintains innocence unless corrupted by an outside source. It makes no sense to have it another way!!! The other reason? The motivation for Freddy kills are misguided and it would only make sense for him to take revenge on the parents who actually carried out his murder, and not on the kids that he supposedly loved.
