I miss President Hickley very much. I went to the most recent Priesthood Session of conference and don't get me worng It was great to see our new Prophet, Thomas S. Monson. But it was very odd not to see Presidnet Hinckley at the stand. I am 16 and he is the only prophet I remember. He was and still is to me one of the most wonderful men to ever walk the earth. Thanks, President Hinckley, for everything.

What amazes me is that you look at the view counter and see how few people have actually viewed the words of a modern day prophet. The counter should be in the millions. It just goes to show that path is narrow and few there be that find it. Also it shows the work we need to do, to share this beautiful message.Stay strong the gospel is true make sure you read and pray everyday as many people will try to destroy your testimony,get those roots in deep.

I always identified mostly with President Hinckley because he reminds me so much of my Grandfather. I love my Grandfather and I love President Gordon B. Hinckley. The only time I ever shook Pres. Hinckley's hand was in 1988 right before my mission. We met in the Sacred Grove. He shook my hand, told me how proud of me he was that I was going on a mission. He was not the president then, but still WAS and is a prophet of God. I am thankful for living prophets. I am glad I lived in the time of Pres. Hinckley. Thomas Monson will be great too!!

I watched the funeral today and was brought to tears. I love him and his solid testimony. No one who has met him can doubt his kindness, optimism and good humor. No one who has heard him speak can doubt his eloquence, his humor and his love for the gospel and all of us. Members or not. Whether you are a member or not he was a great man. And for me a prophet of God. I love him and will miss this dear man. But my full support and will sustain this next prophet with all my heart and soul.

What he says is true. What a great life he lead. I'm sure Sister Hinckley greeted him on the other side, beyond the veil which so terribley hides this world from the heavens with her arms open, along with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I have a feeling They are both being rewarded and blessed among the angels and all those who have fallen in battle, illness, car accidents, et cetera. I hope to go to his funeral on Satureday to say goodbye to the prophet I knew but didnt, but he knew me. RIP.
