Republicans want constant war because they love the money it sends down the hole to dick cheney, haliburton, blackwater and it is their version of jobs creation....as in "be cannon fodder or you'll never work again. Now excuse me while i attend my child's million dollar wedding."
I am a Republican and that is not what I want and that certainly isn't what traditional Republicanism stood for.
Granted the neoconservative movement dominates the Republican party and I share your disdain for it...but neocons dominate because the Republican party base has shrunk so much. Republicans like me have been run out of the party, laughed out at meetups and teaparties.
And the truth is democrats have done nothing to stop them and bring our troops home. WHO WILL STEP UP???
What a Leader Kucinich is, Didn't he wanted to prosecute George Bush for war crimes?
I've always liked this guy, him and Ron Paul i wish more politiicians had more balls like them two.
Apparently these people who are for this war, are a bit messed up in the head. Nobody wins Wars at all, there is death, destruction, and economic problems because of wars.
On top of 9/11 being an Inside Job, we have our own country to start fixing not supporting a corrupted government over there.
So throwing more American lives and money in the toilet to prop up a drug-dealing government that can't even fake their own rigged election half as well as Bush did. Wow. We need to GFO of Afghanistan IMMEDIATELY!
actually, rip, it's not the bots, but the bucks. The corporate candidates shill and sell out, and Dennis actually tries his best to represent his constituency instead of the scumwads who bribe the rest of congress. So they send millions to people who oppose actual change and positive work for america, and instead represent only the Billionaires' Club on Wall St.
laser guided democracy in middle est hey Mr thornberry ? setting the example with guns Mr thornberry? do your homework Mr thornberry this war was based on LIES
Mac Thornberry (geez what a fucking name!) strikes me as a true doofus! Just look at his face, his look, his expression -- even his voice & speech cadence! Unbelievable that a dumbass shitkicker, hick like this, is actually elected to Congress. This proves to me all the more just how rigged the "election" system in America actually is. There's no way this dumb fuck could have really been voted in by the people in his district. Surely, this dumb fuck was installed by the elites as their puppet.
The government of Karzi is nothing more than a puppet regime of the powers that seek domination of resources in the area and who are depleting US forces for the purpose of surrounding Iran.
The terrorists that attacked America are the same that usurp the UK & US military power to stengthen the grip of IsRaEl in the middle east.
You hear the crimes of the Taliban being cited is perverse. Look at the crimes inflicted upon the Afghanistan people. AlQuaeda are Mossad/CIA/MI6 black ops mercenaries
I'm starting to think that Dennis Kucinich is the only descent Democrat in the United States, just as I already believe Ron Paul is the only descent Republican in the U.S.
How anyone can argue that being there is necessary for security is beyond me.
I really like Dennis Kucinich also. I Love Ron Paul; and I'm really starting to like Alan Grayson for his opposition to the Federal Reserve. These 3 NEED to stay in Congress!
Also Lou Dobbs has a Petition up to Remove Troops and Bring them home! Please sign it!
Firstly, thank you for bring the petition to my attention. I have high respect for Lou Dobbs and if there is anything I can do to bring the troops home, I am there. It is my obligation as an American citizen to end the frivolous wars.
I feel that the USA being in the middle east will ultimately bolster terrorist groups. It sounds like they are setting up a police state while at first will protect citizens but with the insurgency that exists in that part of the world, may ultimately lead to oppression. Discontent could possibly make it much easier for terrorist groups to recruit people who otherwise would not have joined.
"...Afghans to stand up their own police, stand up their own military..."
Eight years hasn't been long enough to achieve these goals? How long will it take, 50? Maybe they can't "stand up" because they are tribal, and would rather be at each other's throats than to cooperate and work together to achieve Bush's goals.
Haven't we learned anything from Viet Nam? Whatever happened with self determination. We had no business in Viet Nam and we have no business in Afghanistan. It wold seem to me Saudi Arabia is a bigger sanctuary for terrorists...that's where the 9-11 mugs were from...why aren't we there?
the irony is that they don't have to worry about the taliban or terrorists attacking us - we are letting the insurance companies in this country kill more Americans than any terrorist ever has.
why 'protect the country' if you aren't going to make it a livable place to have a life in the first place. Protect Americans so that the health care industry can kill us instead of a terrorist bomb. great thinking
how long does it take to "train" some of the already most battle hardened soldiers in the world ? more than 8 yrs ? bullshit. please, bush and cheney ect wanted to put the oil pipeline through afgan. and try and control most of the opium in the world. they built u.s. bases right along the pipeline, taxpayer/ us deaths for corporate/ oil cartel protection.
We are obviously winning. We have an endless unwinnable war that is making tons of money for the military industrial complex at the expense of not only current tax payers but ones that are not even born yet. Their plan is working perfectly.
Why would he be "scared" of Mathews, GE and MSNBC goes down just as guilty as all the warmongers. Mathews would kick the shit out of him..., in any debate.
You didn't know ?? Everybody is scared of Matthews. That guy is CRAZY !! Just read his book... 'Life's a Campaign: What Politics Has Taught Me About Friendship, Rivalry, Reputation, and Success'... & you'll understand what I mean.
War should only be declared by the authority of the people, whose toils and treasures are to support its burdens, instead of the government which is to reap its fruits.

Kucinich...on the fence....
Ron Paul...forever in Congress...
Grayson...boot him.
Grayson is a scum bag. his ONLY positive is disregard towards the Federal Reserve.

Your realization is true...but, with a little twist.
Dennis is the ONLY Democrat in Congress and Ron Paul is the ONLY Republican in Congress...
All others have in one way or another, promoted their own agenda or lobbyist's agenda's at the cost of the American Republic....
BUT, Kucinich supporting the Healthcare issue baffled me...didnt like it; seeing as he sticks to the Constitution.
