The Dems work for the elite by being wishy washy and basically playing dead and or moving slowing as not to be noticed. We need a third party candidate to push the Dems and the Repubs around and put some people control back into the conversation.
Frank, mobilize anyone you can around Rep. Marcy Kaptur and her "kick Wall St. in the nuts" Glass-Steagall style bill HR 1439. It seriously needs more co-sponsors.

I find American politics very interesting because it reveals often let downs in our politics therefor I advice Americans to study other countries politics too.. As Somali's say: Ape tells his neighbor "Your ass is red!" meaning no one can see his own ass clearly ;)
The fact that those who say "Obama is trying" are hypocrits, was evident in many occasions, for one I mention their support of just executing Bin Laden (we'll not argue if he was killed now or earlier or at all). Using two entirely differents cales weigh same moral disposition though on different ends of a political spectrum clearly shows hypocricy. That is not to say I ever believed in Obama's sweet talk... including wwhen he promised to shut down Guantanamo.
I'm neither right, nor am I left, Frank. I don't dig on warmongering and I don't dig on statist establishments. While we will most likely disagree with 99% of each other's viewpoints, the 1% that we will agree on is that this government is in need of some serious overhauling and house cleaning on both sides.
Unfortunately it's always been this way. Even if we were to go back to being the representative republic, it would just be fractional majority rule, and many people in certain states would use that as the ultimate excuse to deny rights to minorities. Not to mention we have a de-facto theocracy on our hands in many areas as well..
9. End the 2 party system, make everyone independent, and make them lay out their own motivations and views before election time. Take the party off the ballot and just have names so people actively seek out information on the candidates.
