Well, Dave's voice does sound a bit rough here in this clip, but he certainly sounds great live every time I see them. And have you heard any of his solo material? Or the new stuff he's collaborated on lately? "Bad" is not a word I'd use to describe Dave's voice even on his worst night.

Saw a difficulty to get the meaning of the lyrics.Actually, the message is about love, infidelity, viciousness, and those disastrous consequences on relationships.Another character met in this song is FORGIVENESS.A lot of people made an erorr due the song chorus that refers to "WE" so they think it's about a dirty affair including both.In fact as any chorus, it may express a general reference to us as people and what it may happen when we'll get a wrong way of drugs, imorality, etc.
