It's all basically laid out in GGXX:AC. Sol was Aria's lover prior to becoming a Gear and Aria, Sol and That Man were creating the Gears together. Sol volunteered to become the first Gear and Aria was changed after. To the surprise of some Aria was pregnant when being turned into a gear and gave birth to Dizzy shortly after. Dizzy is a half-gear and was raised in a small village, becoming a full-fledged woman in about 5 days. She became enamored with Ky and they married and had a son named Sin.

@Cypher012 Its somewhere around the time of the war where Kliff had originally sealed Justice...because I think it said that Justice was once human and then decided to make herself into a gear then Sol himself decided to be a part of the Gear Project. Only thing is that all gears were said to be controlled by Justice and even Testament was under control. The only thing that's keeping them from controlling Sol is the headband he wears, it is said that Sol has a seal under that headband.

@greendagger87 First, you don't have to be married to someone to have a child. So that "Sol can't be Dizzy's father b/c then he'd be married to Justice" theory is invalid. And I've never read anything that say That Man is Sol's father. Also, Sol was a Gear before Aria (a.k.a. Justice), which is explained in Sol's ending in GG (he's the Proto-Type Gear, which makes him immune to Justice's commands).

I think he does. He is Kliff's adopted son after all. He was frustrated he thought he was weak so he volunteered himself to be experimented on. He became a Gear, realized the evil in humans and got controlled by Justice.

@Yatse Testament was a holy knight at some point but then became not just a Gear but also one of Justice's lieutenants. In fact, I think I read somewhere that he still serves Justice (guarding her daughter, resurrecting her and helping her wipe out humanity etc...).

If you played all the stories of Guilty Gear series you get hints who insinuate that Dizzy is the dughter of both Justice and Sol-BadGuy of course none of them is aware to this fact...

this is one of the many raesons i love the story of GG series so much!

It also may be the fact, that Justice isn't aware of this because she's dead... :P Sol might know it, You know. Note that 1) He spares her life in GGX and 2) After beating her in GGXX#reload he comments "Don't loiter around" which I bet is his way of caring :P 3) He also comes to save her when I'no knocks her off Mayship in story mode. Keeps looking after her- get my point?

Just that they are working on Blazblue this year and next year. After all, for a small company like Arc, working on two games at once becomes a hassle.

Of course they're going to maintain GG of course.
