all the runway designers. they give really exaggerated ideas/predictions of what will be worn for the next season and regular stores copy the ideas and make it wearable for regular people.

People need to realize that fashion has life cycles. Trends come back w/ the season. Gladiator sandals weren't a fad like leg warmers :) Which is why there back and better than ever. The same goes for items such as skinny jeans, they are currently in, next season they might be out, but it's a trend so they'll eventually come back. It's the way the fashion pendulum swings.
