  • Request: if you still have your tacoma thunderhawk, if you can please play it unplugged (strum & finger picking). Just wanna hear it totally acoustic. I'm considering it for my next guitar (& the thunderchief for bass). thanks....

  • if the guitar came with the ability to play like you, i would buy it now

  • @jdcrouhy Bonjour, il existe un livret aux éditions "Hal Leonard" qui s'appelle "One Quiet Night" qui sont des retranscription du disque du même nom!

  • Hello very nice version !

Do you have a transcription of it ? I'd like to play it on a standard tuning guitar ! I'll transpose if it's possible ! It's too difficult to transcribe the original of Metheny whith standard tunning ! Thx

  • @baritonemanfr super merci bonnes continuations !!

  • Que c'est magnifique Franck..... merci!

  • Wow, Franck, a moster guitar - and a georgous sound. I like this more then on the Breedlove. You're a wonderful player and your videos sound really great!

Sorry for asking you for tabs, I didn't read the comments before writing to you. So I go on treasure hunt!

    Cheers and all the best,

    Bernd

  • I'd like to compliment you! And I've got one question: I'm going to restring my Lakewood Bariton in the Nashville Tuning just like you or P. Metheny on "One Quiet Night". Can you please tell me the gauge of your 3rd and 4th string? Thanks in advance! Bernhard

  • @Bodydrag71 Hi Bernhard, thank you for your message. About the 3rd and the 4th strings I use the following gauge : 0,012 (third) and 0.017 (fourth), but you need to tune guitar from B to B or from A to A

    Bye

    Franck

  • Great job .... Respekt :)

  • The base is from "One quiet night" but I don't play exactly, i did it as I felt it

  • Hi, just curious to know what made you choose the Tacoma Baritone over the other baritones that may have been available.

  • Hi, There's not a lot of baritone guitares on the market. the YB1 from Yairi is a fantastic guitar but there's no cutaway on it and it needs a long time to get it in France... so I bought 2 Tacoma guitars on ebay, one which is in "nashville" tuning and the other in standard tuning but from B to B and not E to E.A friend of mine told me that the YB1 is really fantastic...I would like te try it...

  • well i am happy to say that in about a week a new, old stock model is due to arrive via Fed-ex. I don't play many of the modern songs - just my own tunes. It was built in early 2008 according to the serial no. that is encrypted (julian date, etc.)

  • ok.ist deine Tacoma eine baritongitarre?

  • Ja, das ist eine baritongitarre

  • für was brauchstu Du die Kopfhörer?

  • Because I'm a fan of Mickey Mouse! No I'm joking, that's better to check the sound and the volume, that's all!

  • hahaha: fan of Micky! ;-DD Always knew it.

  • It is very beatifull. How long have you been playing?

  • Thank you! If I remember well, I began the guitar on the 19th of january in 1980, I think it was a saturday!

    bye
