i can do this haristyle and my hair is very layered so I'm sure it is possible with all sorts of hair. One of the pursebuzz videos shows how to insert the pins in correctly, I couldn't do it before I watched that video so I suppose it's all about how the pins go in.

practice practice practice makes perfect. I do this with my hair and it only takes a couple of minutes now. Everyone thinks I spend hours! If you do it with your hair wet, it will come down curled at the end of the day.

This video helped me a lot when I decided that i wanted my hair in a french twist for prom and realised that neither me, or my mum had any idea about how to go about it.

The only bit im still having trouble with is the "tuck it in" bit.

I've got the actual twist bit right but then im completely stuck and it ruins it when i tuck the "tufty" bits in :)
