  • @stroh013 I agree! hotmn4u is nothing but a troll who loves to post inflammatory comments to people... I don't even know who this douchebag is... He thinks he's witty and clever, but in reality, he's a total loser who gets off on making snarky comments to people. Sad and pathetic...

  • @TracyBeth87 There's really only one thing to say about this.....it's a catchy Top 40 hit from an underrated artist, with that ever present back beat that makes rock n' roll so much fun. So just enjoy, and that's how we learn.

  • Awesome song, visuals a bit to flashy for this tune but great.

  • essential that we tell our kids and school them on our great music..they love it anyway!!!

  • Great song to cruise to with the windows down.

  • I was 9 years old when I first heard this wonderful song. I have never understood why, but the lyrics, music and soulful sound opened my heart and mind to the concept that the loss of a romantic love could be a traumatic event. In a real way, this song changed my understanding of life. I love Johnny Rivers and I will always love this song...Thank you for the post!!

  • @mmccutch45 well put (from someone who just ended (losing end of) a three year relationship..."We used to be a mountain of love. You should be ashamed."..(And to think we went from this level of music...to the freaking Jonas Brothers in 40 short years.)

  • I love Johnny Rivers, and what can I say, there is only 1 Johnny Rivers, and he will always be one of my Favorite artists of all-time.!! My father would constantly sing Johnny Rivers songs to me, when I was a kid.

  • Greta song later covered ny Charlie Pride in1982. But Jonny's the best. I will record this song for my "Manny The Memories" CD.

  • I love this song! Im in a local band and we go to schools and bars and people always get up and dance when we do this song, especially at the schools! GREAT SONG!

  • Everytime I hear this I think about being a kid riding the matterhorn ride at the strawberry festival in garden grove california. This was back in 1967 just good memories from a simpler time.

Johnny Rivers - what a talent and treasure to us all!!!!

  • It's a shame you can't never find songs

like that anymore, no matter how people

would tried to change songs or tried to

cover it up, to make up their own voice, it

just ain't the same like Johnny Rivers.

  • What CD is this off of? I haven't been able to find this version of this song!

  • "Secret Agent Man:The Ultimate Johnny Rivers Anthology Disc1" I found it at my public library.

  • Just a great American song. Thanks for posting, Raebelle 6.
