"I see myself slipping on the bathroom floor, cracking my head open... Other times, it's when I'm out for a run, and I'll just... Fall... I feel like I'm having this... Supernatural, out of body experience..."
@loadedwatergun44 Mister appears in Storm Front. I don't know why my comments aren't going through. I tried to answer your question some time ago. Mister appears in Storm Front and one of the DVD deleted scenes.
@TheBratKingJareth would you push your best friend down a ramp on roller skates to get the show back? I would. But let's get constructive--is there anyone we could blackmail, kidnap, or otherwise "persuade" to bring it back?
I really like what they did with Bob in the show. He's so much more sympathetic in the show than he was in the books. It was probably the smartest thing they ever did, casting Terry Mann to play a ghost.
Hehe. I think the idea is he's so poor that he's very much a blue collar wizard. He enchants whatever object he can get a hold of. In this case it's a hockey stick and drum stick (which gets replaced a few times in the course of the series so he has to have a draw full of them somewhere.)
Kode, in the books Harry Dresden carries around an actual staff (you can see it on the book covers) and a "Blasting rod" (wand). This was one of the details changed for the show but made sense in regard to Dresden's limited income.
Still have to have the money to do all the enchantments which if you take the time to read the books you find out is very expensive and time consuming.
The woman who played Murphy (Valarie Cruz) is a very serious actress. She read The Dresden Files novels before taking on the role of Murphy. She even got nominated for an acting award or two for the role so no, she did not get the line wrong. She did say "Specifically."
Hehe. I love that part too. Paul Blackthorne (Harry) is so cute there. Technically he's kissed Murphy three times in the series. This episode, once in Storm Front (but sadly it's in the two hour cut which isn't up here on youtube) and once in Second City.

Interesting that she has a scientific explanation for his death. Curare poison, instead of necromancy.

Drugged Harry is hilarious, and I'm glad that they let Bob be more than just a mascot for Dresden.

no i believe in the books its explained that he thinks its less noticeable or conspicuous to use the drum stick and hockey stick.

a staff is hella cheap all you need is a hatchet and a tree, and a wand is the same

27:40 Does Murphy actually say 'Pacifically' instead of 'specifically'?
Wow. C'mon. Paid actors. At least get the WORD right.
