To those who seem to not know or care, those are "Yellow Jackets" or "Wasps." Not "Bees." Bees are hard working, contributing members of society. These are scavengers who will sting you just because you happen to be there! They kill and strip the bones of other animals! They take and do not give. Tried and true remedy for stings: Place some cigarette tobacco in between your lip and gum to make it moist but not soaked.

Place poltice on sting with something as simple as a bandaid.

There is something in the tobacco that draws the poison, and, at least, reduces the swelling.

I have used this for years and years on me, wife, children, and any others. It helps.
