  • This reminds me of one crazy ass chick name Debbie from the North End in Boston, cookoo as all hell, great legs & could she rock.....all night!!!

  • Great Song Thanks TIMMOFUNK.

  • Doesn't matter what color you are, you would find each and everyone of them at a show like this. And there wouldn't be any "fuck you hoe", fighting because you smudged my Puma, etc going on....it would be pure happiness and mutual respect from and to all present.

  • I remember hearing this for the first time time in late 1978, at boarding school in England, it was tearing into us off the radio every day! I was 17...Wow!

Now...33 years later the song is as brilliant and tight as ever! Just a fantastic piece of musicianship...Now I'm 50, and still goin' strong like this incredible piece of music! ha ha

  • My favorite record of all time. still dancing, Bring back the 70s

  • From the Glorious Club Era, late 70's to early 80's, when deejays took you on a journey, and the music and dance could sustain you until you could come out again (usually the next night, back then, how did we do it?). This one was all over the New York area, and no damn wonder. It's absolute perfection...

  • @njplr Happy days indeed my friend..........and not a single mention of bustin' a cap in anyones ass, or smackin anyones bitch, in any of the songs back then...oh yes, HAPPY DAYS.

Throw in some Maze, Players Association, Grover Washington Jr and Gil Scott Herons The Bottle and I am in soul boy heaven!

  • the loft back in 83 was rockng in N.Y.C when this jam came on it was on big time...

  • LET HATE BE UR ENEMY!

  • Alright now!!! Lets party!!! You can't help it when this song comes on!!!

  • That's a record that I still must add to my collection whatever the cost.

  • @LogiForce86 lolz the cost is your research around P2P network 8·)

  • @KStealed Ehm, good luck getting a good vinyl through P2P networks. When I talk about records I mean Vinyl records, long play (LP) or short play (SP / Single). If I talk about the collection of songs in general, i'll talk about an Album. You can buy/get an album as a Record, Cassette, CD, DVD, Blu-Ray or MP3, MP4, WMV or a lossless format.

And for crying out loud, stop using those ancient P2P networks. Use Usenet, it's much safer, faster and better.

  • @LogiForce86 i dont really do p2p in years. just tried to help since i just care about the music, not the can it lives in ;)

    all the best

  • @KStealed Haha, thats a relief. Thanks for the help. Love the the music too. The best way to listen to music is always live, when its not canned of course. Just love to have records of the music I really love to listen to. It beats collecting stamps. lol

  • some 18 years ago back in 1993 I was at a disco where the local record player turner slave (read: DJ), was trying to push a (c)rap version to the audience.

I asked him if he (since he was playing a remake of this tune with a lot of (c)rap) if he had a clean version without all the distortion (rap) within.

He(almost) immediatelye realized that for music lovers there is a big difference between that just pretence (rap).

I have to credit him for finally playing the original.

  • @birdidemara There is plenty of amazing modern music. Don't be so ignorant.
