It's called brave capsule and you can get it from the 5 caps you get from membership. as most high lvl mgears he has slightly more than 100 % defense, so with brave cap he gets 150ish % defense = noone can do more than 0 and 1 :) (since you only can get 45 % pierce he has atleast 105 % defense vs everyone).
