  • Dan looks like Jesus. Sings like him too. Better become christian...

  • I miss The Black Keys. They don't even sound like the same band anymore.

  • @DeathByMunky Why on earth would you expect them to? You really think you'd still be into them if they kept making albums with the same sound?

  • Can I reiterate that this is a panty dropper

  • Awesome song, live concert music video. Soooo damned good I can hardly stand it!

  • noticed he played everything 2 steps higher than on the CD version of this

  • What guitar is that?

  • @whow111 a gretsch i believe, i dont know which specific model though

  • @AdSchmuki It's actually a Harmony guitar, a H77 I think

  • @TheDireStrait H78 double cutaway

  • @whow111 It's a Harmony H78 1964 double cutaway. I have one, it's awesome

  • No I believe this song is about his mother in the beginning but then find someone that he adores just like his mother adored him.

  • This song is directed either to his mom or a daughter of his.

"my mom said you're the one i adore, im older.. i see your eyes.. your're the one i adore"

    my .02

  • that guitar sounds so good. must resist not getting a hard on, cause I'm sitting in office and been watching videos all day long. oh yeah that's how it goes in europe, we're not busier than you. it's all pretending.

  • @propagandos You lucky fucks. Clear a room out for me. I'm moving there.

  • Out of context, it's a panty dropper. Within context, no. This lovely song brought tears to my eyes when I played it on my guitar, and I didn't know why. Im 21 now, and haven't shed a tear since 16 as I'm pretty tough on the outside usually. But it's possibly because no matter how old you are, the emotional attachment associated with the most important person in the world, your mother, is limitless.

  • I absolutely adore this song.

  • This is exactly how I feel about my Creator, my instiller of love, my Mom.

  • @t33johnson Absolutely true. @SmilePhreak That's how I feel about it, especially the lyric, "Will you be true/' til life is up/ be the one i adore". But I love that the song is meaningful to people in different ways. It still makes my undies fall off of their own accord.

  • I gotta get this fucking DVD

  • THIS SONG IS FROM A MOTHER TO SON.. HOW THE HELL IS THAT A PANTY DROPPER!

  • @ladyxluck75 I doubt the veracity of your statement. I think it is a song of a man to the person he loves. He references the love of his mother to them as though his love for this person is as strong as the love his mother had for him.

  • @SmilePhreak ~it sounds like he's speaking to his own child, and saying sorta like "when i was young like you, my mum told me this, and now i'm passing it on to you." im a mother and i sing this to hims all the time.. "Now I'm Old

    And Wise

    When I see

    Your Eyes"

this is how i relate to it.. everyones different...

  • @SmilePhreak I agree w lady but do agree that if you love someone so deeply how you might feel as if they or you may shed your clothes...then again was and or is alcohol involved?

  • @ladyxluck75 - because nothing gets to a girls heart more than a son who is sweet to his mother
