why would you put v-max on offshore boats? the v-max might be fast but they have such short shafts.

@floridafishingo your right, but when the v max first came out they were like a reg v6 250 but with different powerhead and cover. So they came in both long and short shaft. They change that when they made them a higher performance engine, and only made them short shaft.
