I was mistaken. Mine didn't open that easily, but that is how it's opened. I just have to really work at mine to dislodge it. Also, there is a side connector that must be removed before the 2nd drawer will slide out.

I just got the big one on ThinkGeek, but the one they sell is *slightly* different. After pulling out the smaller drawer, you need to pull out the crossbar closest to the small drawer in order to get the big one out--if you don't, it will still be locked in. Other than that, they are the same, but if you just try to pull the big drawer out immediately, it *WILL NOT* work.

Nice video, I was wondering if you know how to open the smaller version of this box too. I have the smaller version of the box with only two support rings, however it does not seem to open the same way. Any know how?

if its from thinkgeek. look at the ends. one end should look slightly out of place at opposite corners. grab these two corners and pull and it should come right out. the out of place corners should look like theres an extra piece of wood there thats actually the edge that pulls out. hope that helps
