Very nice! But to tell the truth, now I'm trying to do this as positive as possible, it's not true magic. Your just overtedly showing and trying to proove that your hands are clean. That way it turns more into a follow-the-coin routine, if you no what I mean.
Err, i don't know what you define magic as but from what i know, magic is the art of deceiving the eyes into believing and/or perceiving the impossible.
In this case our eyes are fooled into believing the actions which he is performing are going to guide the coin into an expected position however instead the routine shatters what we had expected by showing us these amazing adaptations of slight of hand and misdirection have fooled us.
No doubt these beautiful skills are incredibly deceptive, but it's obvious that its not magical in the sense, that there is obviously something going on.
This is of course as impressive as it is, but rather than it being interesting to those familiar with the slights, it should fool laymen in the sense, that they don't know when anything could've happened.
Anyway, I'd wish that people would just aknowledge this piece as a demonstration of skill, but don't critisize my opinion.
But, too bring this "argument" to an end, I greatly appreciate Ponta the smith's work, and did in no way intend to undermine the quality of his abilities. I merely expressed what I thought about this particular sequence.
It's 3:30am here in Aus, so i do not have the energy to continue an argument anyway, however i will say that i personally disagree with the claims of this not being magic as they are routines designed to trick the spectator's eyes into believing the impossible, which i believe is the definition of a magic trick.
