I can only imagine Jerry laughing his ass off playing back & listening to this message. If I were Seinfeld i would be laughing for hours @ this. I mean hey! LOL XD
Who arrrrrrrrrrrrre these people who don't like Gilbert on Howard goofing on a shmucky stuck up jerk like Jerry?
I called the Stern show once and got on. I swear this is 100% true. It was like, 1996? I was wasted on coffee and weed at like 3 am in Cali and I BOMBED. It was so funny. I did a Jerry Seinfeld dating Shoshana (a 17 year old with like DD tits who he dumped after a couple of years) bit. Then a Jackie impression. "I'm Jackie Jokey Martling Jr" at the end.
You know what really sucks for Seinfeld? Gilbert is funnier with his replies, on the fly, to given topics than Jerry is with a month's worth of time to figure things out along side a team of writers.
@MissNobodyful how can you punch them in the face? isnt a simple phone call sufficient? why should i take all this time to go see them and hurt them physically? WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?
Until the mid 1990s answering machines had cassette tapes in them to record the incoming messages. Many of the machines couldn't set a time limit on messages, so people could talk until the rest of the tape was full. Some people put tapes with 30 minutes of space on each side and when they reached the end they'd just rewind the tape and the next caller's message would tape over what had been there before. This show first aired in 1993, so this was not unusual at the time.

seinfeld's show was great but his stand up is the most mediocore shit imaginable. Gottfried on the other hand is hilarious.

You could just throw out anything for Jerry Seinfeld Jr to talk about.
Spray paint
Klingons
Cactus
Cherry Bombs
Quicksand
Ann-Margaret
Shot Guns
The list goes on and on.

why does Gilbert call her old "black" Mavis? Leno's wife isn't black.
wilcox24 3 years ago 5
because mavis is a black sounding name
provopauly 2 years ago
They could also be referring to Mavis Beacon, a fictional character created for a typinng tutorial program called "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing".
LiveGoat 2 years ago
Mavis Beacon isn't a real person, sorry to say. Leno's wife Mavis is real.
TSMontana 2 years ago 2
Yes but the joke is that Mavis is like the Mavis Beacon Character. Plus Mavis sounds like a black housekeeper's name, hence "'Ole Black Mavis."
LiveGoat 2 years ago 4
this is so funny, gilbert just nails it. Now when i read youtube comments i hear Seinfeld ..Whaaats up with that!
