This lens is only $100 more than the Canon 70-200mm F/4 IS lens. So, for $100 more you get a 2.8 constant aperture on the Sigma. Pretty good deal if you ask me and the reviews have been pretty positive.

I've watched this at least 5 seperate times this past week - love this. Good footage, good music, good editing, etc. Hope to get this lens not to long from now. Then follow it with a Sigma 50mm F1.4 and an SB900.

@rorycophotography Oh man, I couldn't agree more. I'd also add that the lack of anyone talking is a big bonus! And you focused on the most important aspects (i.e the lens). Most people spend 1/2 the video showing us cables, manuals, warranties ect... and so little time showing the main reason everyone clicks to watch the video. When there is someone talking, it's like "and this is the manual" *holds up manual* - like REALLY? Your video is PERFECT!

@snappuppy I think it's pretty good at 2.8 in 70-150 range, maybe not so good at 200, but it's a great lens overall; I will post a link here with some sample images maybe nest week, thanks :)

@kyopasol thanks :) OS1 is for stabilization on both horizontal and vertical axes, while OS2 is just for vertical - for horizontal panning shots.

the video is shot with a 5D2 with a 50mm; titling done with manual keyframes.
