I think this teaser explains the origin of the monster seen in cloverfield. Tagruato (Japanese oil drilling and biotech research company; which also owns Slusho; the company whereby the main character gets promoted to be the vice-president of) is reporting to the media about the loss of their company satellite.

..which crash landed from space into the ocean (footage can be seen in the movie itself!), which in turn awakens the monster. The scene starting from 1:49 probably shows footage of how one such search party was sent in the recover the satellite, only to be attacked by the monster spawn.

Une organisation écologique radicale basée en France serait apparemment dans le coup... AhAh!!. L'image est mauvaise mais on a jamais vu autant de plans différents d'une telle catastrophe. Et le bandeau qui ne parle que de ca... elle est vraiment chelou cette chaine....

d'accord avec toi, pis je trouve que la peresentatrice joue mal ! ! aucune infos sur les cris ou betes dans la video, tout est en fraiçais , l'organisation française et pis les effets speciaux ne sont pas dutout a la hauteur de Cloverfield ( j'ai vu le film)
