  • in Switzerland train is still better than car

  • I think this is the coach I travelled on: adapted livery in silver with a pale blue stripe, along with the Cisalpino logo. Yes, as you said, they are refurbished Italian coaches, but not entirely sure if these are the grey ones you mentioned. Silver=Grey? well, maybe, quite close.

  • come sono puliti i treni in svizzera!!!!!

  • Yes, Swiss Federal railway's services are efficient and mostly clean, especailly the IR and IC trains and most private train operators.

  • have you ever seen italian ec coaches in Switzerland hauled by a re460 o re 4/4?

  • I might have travelled on one on my trip as well. Correct me if I am wrong: it was a EuroCity CISALPINO LEMANO service from Geneva Airport to Domodossola (in Italy), and the coaches are conventional ones (light blue, marked with Cisalpino), not high speed ones, which seems to me like Italian, and haulted by Re460.

  • Well, the lcoco could have been a Re 484, and it broke twice as the train pulled out of Geneva airport.

  • ah ok this is the cisalpino train with refurbished italian coaches (Z1), but have you ever seen italian Z1 in XMPR colour ( green white) or grey colour???
