@deathlyfaith Sorry, I didn't realize your opinion was the right one. To me, he sounds like a country singer who wanted to be in a goth band. To you, he sounds like Carl McCoy of fields of Nephilim, who by the way, did not create the sound. The sounds origins are arguable, but McCoy definitely ripped off the vocal style of Andrew Eldritch from sisters of mercy.

@twilightkinko He doesn't have the drawl of most country singers, but I can actually see where you're coming from. Which is funny, since I abhor country singers with a passion, yet I love his voice.

Anyway, it's a damn shame he died. I love this band.

@twilightkinko I can't listen anything that could remind me country music........and Carl Mccoy and Andrew ....sing very different .....and this singer does not sound like Andrew and Mccoy either ...but reminds me more mccoy than eldritch..... There are lot of bands that really sounds like Andrew...but Nephilim is not one of them

sounds like 80's music or 90's beginnings but this I like not as the other music,reminds me of Angelfish but the dude's voice is awesome,I mean I know this band recently becuz I saw in images of Tristania's Beyond the Veil small letters where it says that this guy made the backing voices in Heretique,one of my favourite songs and those choruses where awesome!

No no, has nothing to do with FotN. Only the same genre: gothic rock. Reminds me more of Sisters of Mercy and Mission. If you look up for FotN soulmate bands, try Sons of Neverland. Even they are "a straight copy" from FotN, I like them.

are u sure? FOTN's music are way different than Elusive's. and for the videos....FOTN's were kinda poor (80's bad quality, etc...)and never shot one with just the band performing (power doesnt count, god!)so...?
