  • PERFECT!

  • This is my favorite production on La Gioconda .

No entiendo.

  • @tena2

Si.

  • Stunningly beautiful!

  • I really really want this dvd in a truly terrible way.

  • Got it.

  • Do you mean that you got this dvd? if so tell me please i want it too and very much.

  • There area few on e-bay at the minute.

  • Thank you jenni4claire I bought it just now from e bay, i don't know if this is the same dvd but in magnified screen i saw the year is 1979 and he was amazing in this year and i very happy. thank again.

  • I'm glad I was able to help.

I hope if you have a different production on your dvd, , you will post some of it here for us.

  • OK. i promise i will post.

  • jenni4claire I have the same production of La Gioconda that we see here, and Luciano Pavarotti is amazing. thank again.

  • He was the most beautiful man in the world, no doubt.

  • I think this is absolutely beautiful. One of his many bests!! This is outstanding!

  • i love him all, endless love.

  • He was amazing, beautiful. i him all.

  • I love Luciano´s voice but not in heavy roles like this one, i much prefer him in bell canto and verdian roles.

  • He is thrilling.

  • The more you hearh this, the better it gets. Any word about it coming out on dvd...?

  • The name is La Gioconda and it is in an opera. I recently bought it at Ebay. U just put it in search either there or at Amazon, and if they have it, it will come up. It's a very good opera, with subtitles in English.

  • Oh I know! There are lots of versions available but I want THIS one, and can't get it anywhere. Do post up bits of your copy for the rest of us when you can, please, to tide us over til its generally released...?

  • Tenronmd-You're basically commenting on his timbre which has nothing to the excellent vocal artistry displayed by Pava. So what is your point? You're essentially voicing your preference which has not correlation whatsoever on the artistic quality.

  • Amazing! Bravissimo caro Maestro!

  • I like this Enzo for enunciation and general musicality, but actually prefer a little more vocal weight.

  • He does unfortunately make all other tenors sound a bit crap by comparison, no matter how good they are.

  • JUST AS THIS ARIA STATES, "SOGNI D'ORATI" (Golden Dreams) is what he has given us, never to change always with us. Ringraziare LUCIANO

  • muy muy muy bueno

  • Muy Muy Muy Bueno.

  • STUPENDO!

  • Superlative

  • Listen to Bergonzi in the London recording with Tebaldi to hear how this recitative and aria should sound.

  • Wonderful...just wonderful. I had the opportunity to witness his final Miami concert. Although it wasn't his best, it still amazed me that he was the greatest tenor I had had ever heard.

  • this so great.does anyone know where i can find this on vhs or dvd ,He was the greatest and I miss him

  • Okay, who are the shiq-for-brains that rated this LESS than 5 stars????

  • I only seen him sing this in his one and only film, it was also brilliant then thanks.

  • preserving the voice is the reason he put this role and calaf out of his repetoire. he was able to sing an extra five years because he did so. he was also able to keep rigoletto, boheme and elixir in his rep.

  • Fantastic! Thank you.

  • It's a pity, that he sang so few roles from the middle of his career. He is a very interesting Enzo.

  • Bravo. Bravissimo.

Thank you, Ginotti, and thank you Luciano for all the joy and beauty you have brought into this stupid world.

    Addio...

  • Thank you so much indeed. Wonderful rendition of this marvellous aria. Five stars rating.

  • Thank you so much. I've never seen him sing this, except for the 25th Anniversary in NYC...thanks. I wish I knew where to buy this stuff.

  • thank you
