Santana Abraxas was the first 8 track tape I ever purchased while in high school in the mid 70s. You had to put a match book underneath the tape to keep it from double tracking in the player for this tune which was my fav then as it is now. I enjoyed some great times in those days but I'm glad the 8 track era and those horse shit players that existed then are gone forever. Sound quality today is 100X better.

@37Nl at101W on memories....lol sure do remember my 8 track chewing a lot of my tapes. Time marches on...but this music is timeless. The band at this time is when IMO was the best,,,, Shrieve, Rolie.....then Neal.
