It would be good if Superman actually had his own future spin-off series, much like Batman has Batman Beyond. It would make for an interesting drama given that Superman would need a new identity with Clark Kent suppoedly only appearing about in his late 40s early 50s when he's over 100, as well as dealing with tragedy, having outlived Lois, but still giving his best to keep up the good fight.

Lemme bet the Bart Allen effect. Though it's a slim chance, but they'll probably implement elements of that tragedy/mess. Mind you, I thought he was a good sport as the Flash, but really, he died way before 1YL, when he (uncharacteristically, I might add) read a library.

How does the Bart effect go? Hero goes missing/"R.I.P." (literally!), separate series w/ new hero, all speculate hero's ID until it comes & "Meh." Then a yr-long mediocrity and new hero dies. Old one comes back 4 revenge.

Hey, the Bart Allen effect fits the Batman scenario so much better! F:tFMA was speculated to have characters like Bart's father, John Fox, or Johnny Quick as Flash IV, besides Bart. But that was it. The new Batman could just be any member of the Batman Family... man, I wouldn't bet my ass on who's gonna be Batman IV (Coincidence? Unless Dick takes over, which is... another "Meh.")

Honestly they all sound really good. Requiem is probally gonna be Batman's last horay. Since I have a hunch that Final Crisis is the end of Bruce Wayne.
