I disagree about this so called phenomenon. The majority of the world once thought the world was flat and that the Earth revolves around the Sun, so just because a lot of people believe in something doesn't make it correct one bit. In fact, I'd argue that more and more people are becoming less religious or more "casual" about it. I also imagine due to strict religious rules, Islam would hinder new technology and innovation.

I disagree about this so called phenomenon. The majority of the world once thought the world was flat and that the Earth revolves around the Sun, so just because a lot of people believe in something doesn't make it correct one bit. In fact, I'd argue that more and more people are becoming less religious or more "casual" about it. I also imagine due to strict religious rules, Islam would hinder new technology and innovation.

@crook4real i've just been watching videos of muslims reading outloud parts of the quran and then cutting peoples heads off and placing them neatly on their back whilst shouting allah hu akbar. there are hundreds of these videos. this does not happen in the west, very rarely anyway. this type of barbarity is common place in any country living under muslim law, because islam is poison. i have read the quran, and its a book of hate speech. violent jihad is at the core of the quran and the hadiths.

@42turk42 The slave trade was abolished by law in Europe in 1807, many hundreds of years ago. By comparison, slaves were still being snatched from Africa and brought to Saudi Arabia in the 1960's! Only after America insisted that the muslim Arabs stop the slave trade did they finally do it. Muslims captured and deported far more slaves than anyone else, and they would still be doing it today had the civilized world not told them that it is against human dignity.
