The Sheriffs were very reasonable and appropriate. They are not required to give legal advice, espcially when they are occupying a post. The citizens appear to be quite ignorant and provocative. All 1st Amendment rights must be balanced against the rights of others. These Sheriffs deserve an award for restraint and reasonableness. This video does not show the Deputy's acting bad in anyway, and it seem to not be the whole video of the situation. Also the guy that steps in that says he is her attorney clearly does not know the law. He should have been able to answer that question for her is he was. The Sheriffs were very reasonable and appropriate. They are not required to give legal advice, espcially when they are occupying a post. The citizens appear to be quite ignorant and provocative. All 1st Amendment rights must be balanced against the rights of others. These Sheriffs deserve an award for restraint and reasonableness. The big-mouth fools are lucky they did not get arrested for interferring with police duties.

The reason why the Deputy’s stopped talking once the 2nd lady and the so called attorney stepped in asking questions is because clearly they were not involved with the situation. Again I am only going off what the video was showing. This video does not show the Deputy's acting bad in anyway, and it seem to not be the whole video of the situation. Also the guy that steps in that says he is her attorney clearly does not know the law. He should have been able to answer that question for her is he was. Also when they do a raid, they always have the documents with them to back up why they are there, and where they can go for answers. It is usually given to the person in charge of the business not the employees.

How do I file a report? I'll answer that question. Walk away go to your local police station file the report. Simple really. People know your rights! Be accountable for your own shit! Although the systems not perfect its in place to be as fair and balanced as possible. There are other countries to choose from if you don't like ours. I can't tell you how many friends of friends I have who I've heard talk shit about the military but then when I come rolling around opinions tend to change. @yourfuturewarhero I would say all of this to your face. I speak at town hall meetings at city council and am a part of a few organizations trying to enact local and state wide change, so I am no stranger to speaking my mind to think headed assholes that think they are better than everyone else.
Bottom line, I think Mexicans trying to find a legal way to do something is admirable. Being a non-helpful cop or a self-righteous military prick is not admirable.

I simply explained to him that the GI bill was most certainly not a hand out. It was earned through service to the country. Then he went on a tangent and I just kept shutting him down. How many times do you think they already told her what to do and how to do it? I've watched these youtube videos time and again where the police explain things time after time and people don't listen. So then they cut the video to make them look like jerks? You and I can't possibly judge as we weren't there.

And, you assume they even told her once, how to file a report, but why do you think the people were filming the cops in the first place? My speculation cancels your speculation.
The point is, the cops were being dicks for no real reason. They could have diffused the situation peacefully, but instead chose to stand there and tell her she doesn't have the right to file a report.

I agree with you. If you are that dumb you have to ask a police officer how to file a report you need to be shot. Go to station or call the non emergency number and request a officer to come out and file report.
