I would never expect a John Mayer type of artist to be as out there as Lady Gaga type of artist. Neither KRis nor Adam has reached John Mayer Lady Gaga type of success. Both are talented, but AI actually promoted Lambert more than Kris eventhough Kris won. That is pretty sad.

Winning American Idol is not the point. What happens after Idol is what matters. So what if Kris won? Right now Adam is doing great. His album is selling really well. He's an international superstar. He media loves him. His fanbase is crazy, head over heels in love with him. He's got a great career and a bright future. And he and Kris are really good friends. I think, knowing how super nice Adam is, he would want Kris to find success as well. So don't hate. Chill. Just enjoy the music.
1. Allen is a great singer with exceptionally creative musical arrangements and a worthy Idol winner.
2. Lambert is clearly a better "vocalist" and one of the most exciting idol performers who ALSO deserved the win.
3. Arkansas's votes gave Allen the win.
End of story. Allen got what he needed by being the underdog winner. So did Lambert who was fortunate enough not to win and become a more creative artist not under contract. Let's all be happy.

I would understand the uproar, and maybe even the crap premise of "Adam Lambert is gay and Kris Allen is christian, so that's why he won," if Kris Allen was a bad singer. But he's not; Go back, and watch the videos and tell me that Kris Allen is a bad singer. Yeah, he doesn't have the performance value that Lambert brings to the table, but honestly, he's actually a better singer in my opinion, and that's what the show is about, and that's why he won. I do hear Kris Allen on the radio. It's a lie to say I don't. The Idol people were not supportive of him, so I don't think he is getting near the promotion Adam might be. But many times his fans have made him number one by mega voting.
I figured out the reason Kris won. There are Christians on this year and since Kris has been on, but I haven't voted for any of them. I voted for Kris because he MOVES me...he connects with the auidance in a way few people ever have or do. They were saying this year that you have to make people feel something...and few of them make me feel anything. Kris made me FEEL something!!!

I would like to know how and why calls from Arkansas came through so easily. Only two and a half million people in Arkansas. 2million which includes men,women children babies,the mentally handicapped and elderly people in nursing homes. I have to agree with the gay guys vote for kris over adam. while I know alot of homos that were gaga over adam, I personally, as a gay male, prefered kris to adam 10000000 times. That is EXACTLY it. People KNEW Adam Lambert was going to be successful no matter if he won or lost. You could just see that in his performances. So the audience voted Adam into the finals (cause he was fantastic) and Kris won AI because he could be successful. Kris just needs the promotional talents that the contract provided him more than Adam. America didn't just want to have one Idol. They wanted two. Once Kris starts pushing his personality, he'll be amazing like it was with Kelly Clarkson.

Adam might have good vocal technical skills and has honed his 'acting' skills and stage presence, since childhood. I would never expect a John Mayer type of artist to be as out there as Lady Gaga type of artist. Neither KRis nor Adam has reached John Mayer Lady Gaga type of success. Both are talented, but AI actually promoted Lambert more than Kris eventhough Kris won. That is pretty sad.

Winning American Idol is not the point. What happens after Idol is what matters. So what if Kris won? Right now Adam is doing great. His album is selling really well. He's an international superstar. He media loves him. His fanbase is crazy, head over heels in love with him. He's got a great career and a bright future. And he and Kris are really good friends. Here's the bottom line...
1. Allen is a great singer with exceptionally creative musical arrangements and a worthy Idol winner.
2. Lambert is clearly a better "vocalist" and one of the most exciting idol performers who ALSO deserved the win.
3. Arkansas's votes gave Allen the win.
End of story. Allen got what he needed by being the underdog winner. So did Lambert who was fortunate enough not to win and become a more creative artist not under contract. Let's all be happy.

Only two and a half million people in Arkansas. 2million which includes men,women children babies,the mentally handicapped and elderly people in nursing homes. I have to agree with the gay guys vote for kris over adam. while I know alot of homos that were gaga over adam, I personally, as a gay male, prefered kris to adam 10000000 times. I think kris had way more dynamic talent compared to adam. sure adam can blow (pun intended) but that's it...and just cuz he can blow doesn't mean he automatically gets my vote....problem is he blows the same way in EVERY song! That is EXACTLY it. People KNEW Adam Lambert was going to be successful no matter if he won or lost. You could just see that in his performances. So the audience voted Adam into the finals (cause he was fantastic) and Kris won AI because he could be successful. Kris just needs the promotional talents that the contract provided him more than Adam. America didn't just want to have one Idol. They wanted two. Once Kris starts pushing his personality, he'll be amazing like it was with Kelly Clarkson.

Not being God myself, I don't have insight into the Creator's handiwork. And, bisexuals don't choose their ability to be attracted to both genders, either. Bisexuality is as much an innate trait as homo- or heterosexuality. Although I do think that most self-identified gays and straights are at least a LITTLE more bisexual than they would care to admit.

Adam might have good vocal technical skills and has honed his 'acting' skills and stage presence, since childhood. This is actually really funny what you guys say. I understand everybody has their own opinion but to diss Kris as much as you guys do it really sad. Adam and Kris are amazing friends and for you to sit here and talk shit about Kris is not only disrespctful to Kris but Adam as well. It really doesn't matter that Adam didn't win Idol. Chris will never be as big as Adam or be able to rake in near the money Adam will. This will tell the ultimate tale of who is the better performer. Adam is way bigger than Idol. They were lucky to get him on their show. He did way more to boost ratings for their rinky dink show than anyone who has ever appeared on it. People shouldn't be allowed to vote more than once anyway. I call that rigging.

One of the reasons Kris won was because when Danny Gokey was voted off, all his fans sent votes to kris. If you ask me we had the right winner and adam should have been voted off long before matt or any of the other ones were.

I totally agree with you, MusicManiacRox, because I was at the concert in Portland and no one could even hold a candle to Adam! He is incredible, and it is pathetic that this jerk Greatstuffis has to bash him like that because he's a hater! Adam was Portland's choice for an idol, hands down. It was so loud from screaming fans when Adam came out that I couldn't even hear myself scream! When Kris came out, people were excited, but nothing compared to Adam. Kris is good, but Adam is AMAZING!

How classy, pulling the 'Jewish' card. Mom would be proud. I had the priviledge of seeing the A I tour last week, & while they all were good, the energy, enthusiasm, excitement & loudest cheers were when Adam stepped on the stage & was performing. No need to bash someone in an attempt to raise up your fave. Who cares - everyone is allowed to have different taste in music, food, clothes, cars etc. btw....the industry never has and never will 'PIMP" someone out of the goodness of their heart.

Adam looks like a 45 yr old Jewish Dentist, and he moves like a low paid second rate stripper sometimes, and other times like an opera diva. He is too cutsey and nice to be a rocker, and now that we have seen him grow up, how can we even think of him as a rocker? He is NOT an authentic rocker, he is' acting' like a rocker. This is not about Adam being gay, it is about Adam not being particularly liked by a large segment of the audience, for being a drama queen. There are many exceptionally handsome, well built star like, talented gay people in the industry that don't look like they are 'acting', when they sing, or even act. Adam is like a little girl who loves to dress up in his mommy's clothes and get all the attention that he can. He would make a GREAT liza mannelli, or maybe even judy garland, impersonator.

People talk about it alright...lol...his singing is funny to me. He goes to this girly "DIVA MODE" where he gets possessed by Christina Aguilera or something. It is comical to me and probably others. Plus I am sure that American Idol would want either a STRONG WOMAN FORCE OR A STRONG MALE FORCE to represent such a strong show...not a male that can't project masculinity when it calls for it. Watch every performance Adam does...and you can see the woman come out alot or just very subtle...
