not necessarily. spend the extra money on GOOD lenses and then in a couple years if you are still really into photography, you can upgrade the body and still use all the lenses. At some point, the body becomes irrelevant as long as you stay in the same Canon "system". Remember that EF-S lenses only work on "sub-frame" bodies (not the 5D or 1D) so if you think you will ever "go big" be sure to get only EF lenses. Have fun!

Greetings sir! Why is it that when I'm in one of the creative modes, the maximum burst is only up to 6 compared to the preset one which is 99?
