Also swapping to an MCX flybar will limit the "coaxial death tumbles" a bit and add stabillity outside. Practice more on high rate inside...just watch the left and right banking...especially while turning (nose in/out cganging direction esoecially into or sideways to wind cab get you...if you have a dx6i you might want lower rates/more expo on just those two inputs (slide L/R)
@1viva yeah once you master basic indoor flight, orientation and manuevers...even on low rate go ahead a swap it to the advanced swashplate setup...in low rate it will still be ultra stable and idiot proof indoors...outdoors you need high rate and the advanced SP setup just to tread water...I have some vids outside...the 100 foot radio comments kinda scare me..I must be flying close to the limit regularly!
You actually flew out of it's range the first time. Not the Radio so to speak, but more the little tiny receiver antenna on the MCX2. They really only have about a 60 to 100 ft range it seems. Gave you a "like" on the video. I've had mine go out of range in a very large gymnasium before...
@1viva Do you have the advanced swashplate setup? if not, watch my video on how to do it, you also cant fly in ANY wind. My saying for the mCX 2 is, "Even when there's no wind, it's too windy."
Nice. I got one last week. Have to test the advanced swash-plate settings in the coming weeks. And ordering some 150mAh batteries for longer flights. Have always wanted to go into RC heli`s/and planes. For me this is a great little beginner to start with, very stable and fun to fly.
@EuroSon99 kewl. and yeah, its a great hobby. something special about controlling something in the air a couple thousand feet up. just kidding. nine times out of ten you dont wanna do that with a heli. just gliders. but ANYWAY... subscribe if you like, because im in the same position as you, and i'll be buying an mCP X or a Blade SR really soon, and thats kinda the "next step." I'll be making videos about them. thanks for watching!
@SketchRC yes indeed i just bought a blade mcx2 today at my local hobby store in long island Willis hobby's they hook a brother up for a rookie. I bought it for indoor but after watching this vid wow i didn't know on a nice day i could take my mc outside cool. I will make vids myself with some of my beats peace
