  • Why did the Aeromexico flight go to Philadelphia?

  • Does USA 3000 have a hub in Philadelphia?

  • @TrainSounds yes

  • @TrainSounds USA 3000 are a charter airline they don't really have a hub anywhere they just have a few flights from here and there

  • EPIC!!! love it!! thanks for uploading

  • Please post more videos like this!

  • ATL?

but i'm looking more usair planes than Delta, and ATL almost belongs to Delta LOL!

but thanks i like your video

  • @hfmaelmejor it's PHL which is a US Airways hub

  • Isn't Philly one of the UsAir Hubs??

  • Yes

  • yes a lot of there international flights operate from philly

  • The winds that day favored operations on the 9s.

  • Your correct, pilots look for a headwind (wind that they fly into ) to land, this way they can slow down faster. When taking off, you want a tail wind, in which case makes you go faster. If landing in a tailwind, a pilot could recover but FAA regulations and ATC suggests head wind runways. Now, in some cases, aircraft cannot cannot land on a headwind, simply because they may be in an emergency. So, they give them the closest runway available.

  • ummmm, you want ahead wind for takeoff actually!

  • HuhYooJuh!!!

  • noooooooooooooooooo i clicked 2 stars by accident i was ment to give you 5!

  • what is the biggest airplane coming to philadeplhia int.

  • What runway was this on 09 R?

  • Thanks for taking the time to record and upload!

One question what type of airbus is at 2:00

  • It's actually a Boeing 767-300ERF

  • Wow i would have never guessed that. Thanks! :)

  • That one at 2:30 had almost NO flare at all.

  • please, airshowfansh....more!

  • 737's and 717's and some older Boeing models seem to have the loudest thrust reversers

  • at 20:00 is that a a300, a330 or Boeing 777?

  • 777

  • lol there all completely different

  • Nice footage! Theres alot of us airways boeing 757's landing there

  • this is because philly is US airs biggest trans ATL arrival

  • Ive never seen an Aeromexico arriving at PHL! nice

  • They ran a Charter in 2 days within that week. 1 day it was in the OC. The 2nd it was NC.

  • hay i live right there in lester

  • The first plane in this video is the same one i flew to Boston. Its a great plane....

  • Its very sad not to see alot of BIG planes anymore, especially in the 80s where u see alot of Tristars, DC-10s, and Boeing 747s right here in the states landing at airports all the time.

Anyways, its still a nice video.

What kind of camcorder u use?

  • Great video, I have been spotting at PHL for 35 years. It's a great place to watch planes due to the ample spots to watch both from the end of rw 27 l/r and 9 l/r. Looking forward to seeing the UPS 777's in the near future. Anyone know the delivery dates to UPS and FDX?

  • i know fedex has it 2009-2010 but idk ups

  • Nice vid! I love watching planes; how do you do this without getting kicked out by security ? Everytime I do it at Pearson (Toronto); guards usually tell me to leave....like I'm sort of a terrorist.

  • really? usually i just say im plane spotting and then they leave me alone...

  • Haha thats what i do when i go plane spotting, they dont really care, where do u spot from?

  • portland international in portland oregon man.. nothing fancy.. a semi-busy class C... wish i lived near la or something.. lata!

  • Who wouldn't want to live near LA, i mean seriously? Haha, philly is a pretty good airport to spot from doesn't really have that much of diversity between airlines...but it is the 9th busiest in the US so yeah..ha ha

  • you ever been to katl its crazy planes taking off every 5 seconds literally

  • No i haven't but my friend has and he says its crazy. KPHL has a takeoff or landing like every minute and a half. KBOS is really busy too i was there and it was a flight every minute.

  • Awesome footage!

  • Wow that's a nice long spotting video... Mine's individual because I can't upload such a long duration video onto Youtube... They are quiet compared to the 747s and DC-10s(from Bangladesh), those make great loud noise lol I love them. Anyway I'm from Singapore, greetings.

P.S. Russian and Soviet planes make greater noise plus the C-141s and C-5s in your country. :)

  • you got the perfect spotting spot great job! i always see the planes coming over my house for

Philadelphia but i never went spotting there.
