As kids back in the early 70s, we used the Piccadilly Line in the Hounslow area. Mostly the trains were the silver 1958 stock, with occasionally red 1938 stock. Sometimes they would mix & match them. A bit of red and a bit of silver...We always headed for the silver train - DoH!!!
I love the 1938 stock. Whenever I go to the IOW I make sure I take a ride on the train and suddenly it's the 1960s and I'm a little boy in London.
