  • americans don´t like the sport because they are no good at it

  • I'm also American and maybe the reason some of them don't want to call it a sport is because the top player in our country is ranked #442 in the world. It's nothing I'm laughing at, just a fact.

  • I find this more of a sport than football/soccer, because it's like a billion times harder. This is why most stupid people are footballsupporters, because it's the easiest sport. All tabletennis proffessionals are highly intelligent. Table tennis is far, far superiour.

  • @NexxtGen EASIEST SPORT?? Jesus mofochrist! If what you said is true then why there is so little stupid shot put "supporters"? Or stupid Javelin "supporters"? Or even stupid SPRINTS "supporters" ?? I do believe that those sports I have said is A LOT EASIER than football!

I get it that you hate football, it's your opinion and I respect that. But what you said is just downright ignorant and disgraces other Table Tennis fans (ME included)

  • Bester Ballwechsel beginnt 1:23

  • 1:25!!

  • What a point! The forehand return from Boll a few points from the end is what set up the win for him. Awesome skills on both sides of the net.

  • Impresionante último punto. Me ha encantado. Para mí, estos dos jugadores tienen , según mi opinión uno de los juegos de revés más bonitos y ténicos.

  • i particularly like mizutani's style because it's laid back, smooth and elegant. he also has aggressive blocks, very good lobbing ability (but not as good as maze's). boll is a more aggressive mizutani, or mizutani a more defensive boll. boll's topspin is his forte and he is very consistent on both wings.

  • the thing i really don't like about mizutani and boll's styles is that they keep their arm so close to the body! isn't it restrictive on movement? i see mizutani many times he has to awkwardly bend to hit a forehand, when no one doing the chinese full arm loop would ever need to!

  • I love how mizutani just collapses.... Great point on both sides!!!

  • Those two are such a good matchup, two lefties, similar equipment and styles, the two best examples of shakehand Euro-Jap style. With Mizutani beating Boll recently at the team championships and him being younger, Mizutani is the new, younger Timo Boll.

  • @Opalance I don't like japaneze players xD

  • @topgear14789 Well that's just flat out racist, because they have a lot of variety in their lineup. Penhold attackers, backhand focused blockers, two wing loopers, attackers, etc. and they are always turning out top junior players. Plus they're so small and cute looking! Like little children trying to play with adults.

  • @Opalance They are good in eating and shitting..not pingpong

  • @topgear14789 uh uh, you know how many world championships the Japanese have won? 9, only the Chinese, who have won 10, won more than they have.

You're just racist filth clogging up the sewers of the world with the trash that keeps endlessly spewing out of your mouth.

  • @Opalance It's better then being a japeneze.. xD

  • @Opalance chinese people and japaneze people are always in the gym working out, german players and other european players, they enjoy life, they go in to the pub. and chinese people are just shit. and yes it's racist, but it is true.

  • @Opalance and you are a father of a chinese shitting humanoid? :p

  • @topgear14789 WOW it took you a year to reply to this? wtf man, get backed up with your trolling?

  • WOW!! What a game!! What a play!!

I find that the world top players tend to have the respect for each other, and if one

would make a super shot or rally, the opponent would make sure to show his

    respect to the others.

I think that is so beautiful and they are good sports!!

  • mizutani fell in place, hahaha

    excellent rally

  • sugee

  • Very nice game for an offensive player..........

  • crazy left handed battle...hahaha

  • great rally at 1:49

jun can become world no 1.

    great game

  • The game is what it is. Beautiful!!

I have played at the International level decades ago,....this rally is artistic and unforgettable.

Can anyone tell me if they were using the 38mm ball or the 40mm ball?

  • @oriskany 40mm

  • Thanx. I grew up with the 38. The 40 seems like I'm batting a beachball, but then again, that's just what I remember.

  • 40mm

  • Thank You. They are young and obviously more accustomed to the "slower" ball.

I played with the 38mm from day one.

Sorry if the 40mm seems a bit cumbersome.

  • 40 for sure.....

  • Lol i thought Boll was giving the ump a hive five after that awesome point, I was like what a douche but it was to end the match

  • great rally and even crazier is how this is the rally to end the match.

  • best rally of 2009 =)

  • 41 amazing shots..brilliant

  • Timo OWNS 21st century ping pong

  • Acctually, I think the CHINESE own 21st century table tennis

  • well perhaps we're both jumping the gun, it is only 2009 lol

  • crazy crazy mad point at 1.50

  • I think timo is probably second best in the world right now to Wang Hao, i dont think he has the power to beat wang hao cos he cant pin him down his backhand like he can ma lin. Timo is so consistent and has a way of getting everything back which is what makes him great.

  • wang hao and ma lin and then timo

  • Ma Lin is better than Timo... him losing from Timo at the Qatar open doesn't say he's overall better

  • I think you crap mate ,go and eat something,

  • The problem with Mizutani is that he has power near the table but always backs out of the table.

  • how old are you? 7? don't post stupid brainless questions man.seriously! you`re pathetic

  • im

    addicted

  • Mizutani vs Boll is always fantastic to watch.

Sometimes I think they play with each other rather than playing against each other, because it looks so smooth...

  • wow

  • Challenge them to beat you within a month of playing. Tell them that no matter how hard they practiced in a month that they can never beat you and rub it in hard. If they fall for it then they will inadvertadly become addicted to table tennis in the process.

  • the point of ur post is?

  • 40 rallies!!! The best match i've ever seen so far.

  • timo, not the best player in the world, but sure he has the best topspin .

  • stfu

  • i disagree. if he does have the best loop in the world, rallies wont last that long. but eh europeans like long looping rallies

  • どーも。日本人です。すごいっすね最後のラリー。

    ていうか、水谷君ってラリー好きだなぁ。

  • 1:26

  • I hate the fact that there are so many Americans that continue to say table tennis is NOT a sport.... look at these guys!!!!! They're fucking siiiccccckkkk!!!

  • i'ts not only americains, there is alot more country that beleives the same way

  • You're moving a lot more than you think, also, in any racket sport, if you want the ball to got fast, you must hit the hardest you cant, whether its a tiny racket or a big, which means nadal and boll both force to their maximum strenth in every possible hit(I'm not saying boll is a s powerful far from there haha xD) but still, it's a fast sport, what makes it a fast sport is that you must hit fast... playing for fun isn't sweaty at all, as you are more concentrated to just bring the ball back...

  • in table tennis you can get away with not having very muscular arms since you can generate a lot of power with a loose wrist, but your legs have to be very strong if you want to play good.

you getting a light sweat when playing is laughable because real table tennis (not amateur ping pong) is very exhausting. a study showed 20 minutes of intense table tennis is more exhausting than 20 minutes of intense basketball.

sure you don't "have to" move, you will just lose badly. ;)

  • lol theoretically you don't have to move at all, but then you can only defend and nothing more

  • lmao...try multi ball training for more than 2 minutes see how much you sweat

  • LOL Shut the flying fuck up "StarCraftWhore you utter, utter tit. Go back to licking windows! (Y)

  • @BLUeCLimbers you`re f***ing right

  • @BLUeCLimbers they say that because they are sooo nooob 4 this sport

  • @Albert09186874479 americans can't play this game, because mentality is absolutely not compatible.

  • @BLUeCLimbers I know man, I'm an american and I think ping pong is one of the best sports out there.

  • @BLUeCLimbers especially there are many fat people there. so why instead of saying that play table tennis :) then they wouldn t be so fat

  • @BLUeCLimbers it's studip reaction.

  • federer cancels these guys out

  • @BLUeCLimbers im american...and table tennis is MOST DEFINITELY a sport!

  • @BLUeCLimbers lol saying it isnt a sport kinda implies it doesnt take physical effort or coordination , i would love to see 99.99% of those people perform with the motor skills of these guys.most americans are also to fat for tt

  • @BLUeCLimbers actualy if you make a poll on the streets china and korea are the only countries were it's widely recognized as a sport.

  • HEY! What? Yea - u! See my profile, ooo-a-possibility u like it! ;)

  • Timo has the best spin his topspins !

  • Mizutani is Japanese their champ....

  • Timo boll is known for the amount of spins he puts on his strokes so we can say that the players have some hard times blocking them

  • At what point does Timo smash the ball in this video "PingMast"??

  • between 0.10 to 0.20

  • You mean when hes topspin driving the ball? Lets play a game....Spot the berk!

  • Timo Boll is a top spin machine... great.

  • Very sportive! :)

  • Timo hat es verdient nochma die nmmer eins zu werden

  • LOL...Jun...omg that was classic.

  • haha that was definitly the funniest thing i have ever seen i have never luaghed so hard in my life like that hahah thanks guys ....

  • and why did you laugh so hard??? sry but I totally don't understand the reason for that...

  • Me neither xD

  • a great finish

  • but he's still too passive

  • Mizutani played well I though, nice blocks and wait for good chance

  • wow,,,,what a rally

  • what the fuck point!

  • what the fuck reply!

  • look at mizutani last point after he misses the shot.. he kind of stays theere like a statue and then.. baff :D

  • Awesome match, thanks a lot for posting!

  • Mizutani has improved a lot!

  • awesome..

  • what a great finish
