This Mcdonald's (here in Piteå) shut down YEARS ago. There is no McDonald's here now. They can't keep them open in the North. And that video is so full of misinformation. WE WISH we had "temperatures as low as -15C"...it was -30C just yesterday. LOL. Oh, and you didn't HAVE to use a snowmobile to get there, in fact...not too many folks did. :P
I would think not everyone there could accept the cold, hard fact (pun intended) that no specially-insulated burger boxes were offered and that they had to eat their stuff before it became too cold.
@valerielundberg Well, they tried at least. I had to read one report station McD's also had a cultural barrier they couldn't quite crack with visitors wanting utensils as nobody ate with their hands anyway. I'm certain McD's isn't going to press their luck again trying to get one above the Arctic Circle again, but I doubt that if they end up putting one elsewhere.
@valerielundberg This whole thing is treated like a fluff piece just so they had something to kill an hour or so of time as these shows get repeated ad nauseam over here. I wouldn't be surprised if it's still playing right now on that channel. I'm sure they weren't expecting anyone to get all interested in going here just for that (though I'm sure there were fanatics that bought it hook, line and sinker).

@ClassicTVMan1981X And what with McD's having gave up on polystyrene packaging they use to use back in the 80's (I miss it).
