Depending on the Firmware.

But as you probably have newer than 2.0.0

Goto quickpwn(.)com (without the ()) And download QuickPWN. If you have 3.0.0 or newer download RedSn0w (I think, can't remember exactly the name) which you also can get on QuickPWN's website.

Follow the instructions given inside of the application you downloaded from QuickPWN and then you got Cydia back.. :)

You might need to restore your device first..

there are 2 ways to do this. 1 is to go into winterboard, and add a video as a background to a theme through ssh. the easier way is to download skrewcommon, then vwallpaper from cydia.

Well when you jailbreak it, after it reboots, there will automatically be cydia. It will have installer to but that is almost totally useless these days. If you need a link to download quickpwn, search youtube for "How to jailbreak 2.2 (or 2.2.1) for either mac or PC, there is usually a link for it.

Good video alex! The content is very useful.

Winterboard is an awesome app. However, it does tend to lag the iPhone quite a bit. I decided to uninstall it and instantly noticed at least a 50% improvement in speed. Hopefully this gets fixed one day. The creators came out with an update not too long ago, yet SMS still lags.

Also, using a combination of Winterboard and SSH, it is relatively easy to create your own themes as well!
