Viscant's MvC3 team was top tier, but if you look closely at most of his matches, he regularly took out one or more characters solely through tricky reset setups with Wesker and Haggar. The proficiency he displayed with that duo made his choice of Phoenix as anchor seem questionable at times.
The whole thing about the player being more important than tiers works the other way too--when it comes to evaluating players, don't just assume they are lacking because they use high tiers.
@misterbguy123 he might just like strider =p although, knowing viscant, it's probably because of that OP vadra assist with wesker's easy otg. also, those strider mixups are nigh unblockable online
Nice Work.. I wanted you to stick to Skrull cause he needs more play but good players... Dr. Strange isn't top tier though so its a nice pick. i like good players who win cause of skill and not top tier characters.... good job!!! :)

@McCloudDash91 I wouldn't say hes exploiting the game but he just picks the characters who he thinks are the best and thats why he won evo hes not playing smart hes playing to win. I respect that because Viscant is one of the most technical players in the game based one his knowledge but the sad thing is hes not clutch and sometimes he chokes.
@TheCreator316 he isnt clutch because he's never made himself learn to have that skill. The reason players like combofiend are so clutch is because they know. They just simply know. Playing low tiers makes you better at the game than someone who limits themselves by using top tiers. You ever play the game Mugen? You ever hear of the character called weegee? if you pick him, any move that he does insta-kills the enemy. So, congrats, you won the game. it doesnt make you any better.
@McCloudDash91 Thats not true look at Jwong and his clutch Akuma, tiers dont mean anything its what you make of the character and your team Viscant does have skill he also hasknowledge and alot of it.
@TheCreator316 akuma was top tier MOSTLY because of his godlike assist, which got nerfed by the way. have you ever used akuma by himself, and not as an assist? he's an average character, he's in no way a wesker or a zero. yes, jwong used akuma for his assist, but he also knows akuma like the back of his hand, he has comebacks with akuma for days. and i dont recall jwong ever jumping on the wesker/phoenix bandwagon for more than an experimental/joke team
@McCloudDash91 Yes actually Ive used Akuma ALOT on my main team by himself and I make alot of comebacks with him, yes hes not Wesker or Zero but hes one of the best anchors in the game because he has tools for almost any situation also Jwong has good fundamentals and went in the lab looking for ways to counter Sentinel and he dropped Wolverine FOR Wesker.
@TheCreator316 did he recently drop wolverine for wesker? ugh -_- if so, i've lost some respect for him...and agreed that akuma is one of the best anchors in the game, but again, he isn't easy to use like wesker is. if you make an akuma comeback, at least you worked for it somewhat. he's good, but not OP
@TheCreator316 honestly, wesker was overpowered in vanilla, but it wasnt at the "respect lost" level like it is in ultimate. ill wait and see what his new team is..
