  • How did you get your battery to stay on the servo

  • oh and to put the travel limiters on use small pieces of fuel tube and split them length ways and they will pop right on the shock shafts with out any disassemble at all...

  • those tires are NOT really sticky....in fact those tires blow goats....get some rovers and it will be the best thing you ever did for your mini...period...

  • Comment removed

  • can u guys do 4ws?

  • @Bajesus042 We haven't done it, but I'm sure it can be done...

  • Nice have you got a losi micro T

  • we usually have them in stock. Let me see if I can order some up.

  • Where can i get those blue "bent links" you've got one that crawler. ? Great mods

  • Fun little crawler

  • In layman's terms, there's almost nothing left stock from the original truck you spent over $200 to set up. Modding a Losi is near pointless, they are better stock them 95% of people are capable of driving them...

  • I just order a losi mini crawler and i was wondering if you had any tips for me or ways for me to improve my crawler?

  • i like my comp losi 1/18 crawler better

  • hey just wording i want to get a NOVAK MONGOOSE CRAWLER BRUSHLESS how easy r the to install

  • hey just wording i want to get a NOVAK MONGOOSE CRAWLER BRUSHLESS how easy r the to install

  • Aren't chevron lugged tires supposed to face the other direction?

  • @Flaheat Agreed! They are on backwards.

  • Liked the video, however next time you make one, you might want to ask the dweeb in the background to shut his pie-hole long enough for you to finish recording. It's very distracting!!

  • You need some HB rovers :D they dont COMPARE to stock! nice!!

  • i love this truck but havent got 1 yet waiting for some money 2 come my way

  • KOOL! - I am very pleased with mine so far. Been thinking about 4 wheel steering. Works great on my Axial...

  • ha u said verginity i know i spelled it wrong

  • Did you glue the tires back on, or do the beadlocks hold 'em tight enough so you don't need glue? I'd like to add weights to my Losi MRC, but I don't like glueing tires. If not, which wheel for the MRC don't need glue? Pro-Line's Titus 1.9" rims perhaps?

  • Although I kinda see what AtomicMods means about the alloy skid plate adding style points, I think nitrikid99 is right; if the thing´s a rock crawler and the plate actually detracts from its performance, how can they be stylish? It´s like Harley Davidsons; the only people who are impressed by them are those who know little about motorcycles. Anyone with any knowledge just smiles when they´re mentioned and politely changes the subject...

  • Just bought one of these off E-Bay...Cann't wait to get it.....

Hope is , as much fun as it looks....

1/18th scale crawler next to my 1/5th scale Baja..

    more empty pockets....lol...

  • I finally found some 3Racing High Clearance Links. Since this video is almost a year old, is there anything new that would really blow the doors off this little Losi?

  • On Xtreme 4X4 (TV Show) they did a show on RC Crawlers and did an upgrade feature on the Losi Mini. I think they did everything except the limiter. They also did a true bead-lock with PVC tube which was very cool.

  • I was wondering a few things though. the plastic mounting plate i removed and mounted elctronics on front of trans and bat on servo BUT the amount of weight on front axle has caused the rear axle to track sideways and turning had been affected. i was also wondering if i could possibly splice wires and mount a rear steer serv for more weight and control.... BTY the stock servo broke week after i got it and i now have a futaba all steel servo.. was wonering if steering comps all work on back axle.

  • dont try and splice the wires your local shop can order you in a harnes to run two servos together but beware!!! if your running two high torc servos you can run into problems with you (B.E.C) cousing you to lose power and a number of other problems!

  • aluminum skidd plates suck for "rock" crawling there very sticky on the rocks

  • Yeah but, they get points for style!! - Jay

  • i was just letting the viewers know that all aluminum parts arnt always the best way to go

  • @AtomicMods jay i love atomicmods :)

  • in your one other video you drooped it and put battery in back so wich should i do?

  • That was the 1:24 scale Micro Crawler, this video is the 1:18 scale Mini Crawler.

  • oh sorry bout that just was slightly confused

  • how did you mount the battery

  • I thought I covered that in the video...maybe not. Double side servo tape. - Jay

  • mines is only 3wd at the miniute does any1 no wats wrong?? thanks

  • either spun a wheel hex or broke an axle shaft probably

  • I think alluminum is a bit pointless unless the car is going faster than walking pace

  • i think around 24 bucks

  • does anyone know the size of the stock motor?!?! i cant find it anywhere!

  • 380

  • @rcpro31 thank you.

  • 1/18 scale

  • I have one of these. The track is too narrow and it's always tipping over sideways. Needs to be considerably wider. Hub spacers or wheels with more offset might help. Are you working on a 4 wheel steer system yet? Mechanical part should be easy but how to wire it up?

  • Sorry. Apparently I don't have one of these.

1:18 Scale? Was the 1:18 discontinued when the 1:24 Scale Micro Rock Crawler came out, or does Losi make both. Mine is definitely 1:24. It's printed on the box.

  • To my knowledge Losi still makes the 1/18 (and also a 1/10). I think they came out with this one cause you can crawl pretty much anywhere with this and it makes for a perfect scaler.

  • they still make it. its a okay rig, but i would still suggest a lcc (losi's comp crawler)

  • HOW Do u move the Receiver i am afraid to just rip it off

  • every thing done to this losi is what i am doing to mine

  • Are they heavy and can air be taken out of the tires?

  • @xxxXzatchXxxx their is no air in the tires

  • I think You Can Use Velcro For The Batttery Sticking to the front right?

  • how did you hold on the battery to the front

  • so the antenna tube shock limiters is great to get rid of torque twist...but isn't 100% articulation worth the inconvenience of torque twist? im assuming that degraded your articulation to about 80%?

  • We've found through much crawling and comping that 100% Articulation can hurt you. If you're just playing around in the yard, it doesn't really matter. - Jay

  • cool well then thanks for the tip!

  • how much is it

  • hay jay can you do some thing like this with a cliff climber?

  • i wan a mini losi crawler for my first crawler car how much is cost?

  • I bought a Mini Crawler last weekend, after driving it a lot totally stock I can really agree with everything you said here. Though the torque twist isn't as bad as you make it sound.

I was wondering how you mounted your battery?

    Great video.

  • My torque twist is redonkulas! but we've got a brushless system in ours...The battery, I cleaned the top of the servo and the bottom of the battery with rubbing alcohol and used some serious servo tape. It's never moved...Cleaning is the most important thing if you want the servo tape to work. - Jay

  • no offense but why did u make limiters? it kinda make the articualtion of the crawler like 10 degrees

  • No offense taken and we appreciate the input... We have found through tons of crawling that too much articulation can hurt you. If you've ever looked and a champion rock crawler or rock racer most of there shocks are limited.

  • oh, thats cool! i didnt know that!, thats pretty neat, ur right, i can roll over and lean to much with to much articulation, trust me, my mrc has 90 degree articulation and leans like crazy lol!

  • Plus with shaft driven crawlers like these you have a lot of torque twist... especially if you put a more powerful motor in. Limiting will help with that too! - Jay

  • lol thats cool!

  • what you should do is remove the garbage that limits the suspension travel

  • Got any videos of your modded Losi actually running side by side with an OOB?

  • hey, with the bent links, when ur crawing and bottom out, do the drive shafts get rubbed? kuz i want some for m mrc

  • It is a possibility, but we've never had any problems with it. - Jay

  • oh ok, thanks

  • hey man i got a question, why do people remove the top chassis plate where the esc and battery sit? its kinda weird

  • To move as much weight as they can, for a lower center of gravity.

  • o i c thx

  • hey, if you have time to respond, can you tell me how my video is? if you could, i would really appreciate it! =)

  • How so?

  • i have one were do i get mods for it

  • On our site. Follow the link up in the video description.-Jay

  • im know this but im want see how this drive! sorry for agressive...

  • Very nice vid Jay!

  • Thanks Bro!-Jay

  • I bought an RC car back in 2006, I can't remember the name but all of a sudden something got stuck, the wheels would spin but the differential-like gearing in the back just won't budge. It's an AWD electric 1:18 (i think) mini truck. Any tips on how to fix it?

  • You're video is way too interesting! haha pretty cool i might add. but yes, i hope that i see more videos like this ! you have some real interesting topics

  • We will try to keep them coming my friend, and thanks for the supportive comments. - Rob

  • How did you attach the battery to the servo? In looking at my MRC, you probably had to lengthen the battery wires as well, correct?

  • We didn't have to lengthen the wires. I cleaned off the top of the servo and the bottom of the batt with denatured alcohol, added some heavyduty double side tape between the batt and servo. PRESTO! a lower C.G.

  • can u do a video on a ta03 and tt01 drift car please if u can.

  • i would like to see you design a esc for 1/8 scale that is bullit proof. thanks jasper

  • yeah a few RC 18 vids would be kinda cool nice vid tho

  • cool

    nice truck man

  • Thanks, we like it too. It's got tons of power. - Rob

  • It is pretty new, the kits hit our store 7/8/2008. - Rob

  • Since when did they have a rock crawler?

  • losi has had this crawler out for some time now... i've seen a ton of vids on it, and it seems like a solid rc, especially for its size....

  • Ive been outa rc for a while I have a micro-t.

  • nice... i just got back into rc not too long ago... i have the mini lst2... have put a bit of money into that thing..lol...

  • We ship worldwide my freind, and the web site will give you a shipping quote right at the bottom of the cart. - Rob

  • We ship World wide!-Jay

  • Very nice car i want to buy it, but do you send products to the Netherlands?

  • First comment! MOre viids on rc18's please =]
