Die Idee ist mir auch in der Wilhelma(Zoo Stuttgart) gekommen - und erbaut wurde es durch einen prof. Aquarienbauer, der in diversen Zoos die Aq's gebaut hat.
Lässt sich eigentlich nur im Zuge eines Hausneubaus verwirklichen (Statik, etc.).
I didn't intend it to be something else but a whitty coment. Either way, it's a mighty impressive tank, regardless of it's content. I personally think it's overcrowded and kinda boring to look at with that enourmous mix of many hundreds of fishes that basicly looks the same, but it's just a matter of personal preferences of course. Did you build the tank youself?

Hallo,
weil ich es leid war, ständig in 8 Becken Wasser zu wechseln.
Jetzt nur noch ein "richtiges", wo ich nur noch einmal jährlich WW mache und gleichzetig reinsteige, um die Scheiben zu putzen.
Ist fest eingebaut mit Scheibenstärke von 35 mm.

Kann ich nicht sagen, weil kein seperater Stromzähler vorhanden.
Erzeuge übrigens ca 60% meines Stroms mit meinem BHKW selber.

Wie ist denn der Besatz in diesem Becken?? Sehe Tropheus(Bund durcheinander) Petrochromis trewavasae, einige Malawis?
Also wenn ich da den Platz hätte, würde ich wesentlich mehr drauß machen!!!

that sounds better.
the tank was built by a prof. tankbuilder in 1986.
In the clip it seams to be overcrowded indeed, because the fish come near - expecting food.
They are estimated about 300 (without babys) - means 50 L / fish.
Not so bad value - as I think ?

Well - was not really my intention. But it is nearly impossible to catch a fish in such a tank.
a lot of babys survive - and so: it just happens in more then 20 years.
But I can assure you, they feel good - as far as I can recognize
