Hands down the most disturbing film Ive ever seen-a woman apologizing to a stalker, a woman who stays with a man who pushes her around, a whole wedding party letting a woman leave to be with a man who is in a tirad , a guy implying that people who get an abortion end up in a different place in the hereafter, and a woman who hands over the money she earns to a man. How can anyone describe this film as sweet? No girl under 18 should be allowed to see this film-terrible influence.

Did you even finish the film? All of the problems you mentioned are resolved (through, I might add, the direct free-will and determination of the previously downtrodden woman) and none of the bad behavior is ever condoned or glamorized. Get a grip, it IS a good movie.

.... Hes noting after Firefly... Fireefly was by far the best Sci-Fi series... cancellation was wrong... Serenity made it as a great film, filled in a few gaps but the story can go on... BRING BACK FIREFLY!!!!
