well... im just gonna point one thing out... some people are light enough to keep riding there small ponnies... take me for example... i have a 11.2 pony im 5ft and we both just 3ft2 together! and he has only ever got me of 3times... when i was smaller and when he was fat! lol! oh and all ridiers do occasionally slam into thier horse/ponnies bk!

Actually she isn't to big for the hore. The way to tell is if the legs go below the horses stomach you are to big for the horse. Linas legs don't go below Natalies stomach.

so it's okay for a 300 pound person to sit on a 12 hand pony AS LONG AS their legs don't go "below the horse's stomach"? and if you actually looked at the video, you'd see the rider's legs actually DO go below the pony's stomach. the correct way is that the weight of the rider and tack does not exceed 1/4 of the horse's weight.

Oh yeah it is i remember i used to ride a Shetland pony and we would jump like 3 feet sometimes because he LOVED it and everytime we rode i would either fall off over the jumps, he would refuse and i would fall off, or he would buck me off when he finished the course cause i made him stop...HAHA I never fall off my thoroughbred because that pony taught me how to jump so well.
