wheres the fucking new music like this? wtf is wrong with my generation? All that bring me the horizon stuff is all well and good but its not up in your face like this music is its not trying to be your friend its not playing a role or filling a gap
@hideHYDEimcoming It's because of this reason why I had to start listening to more independent music, I do agree that sometimes I need music to hug me (She & Him) but "In your face" music is really hard to come by. I'm not bashing on the metal genre (which is about 60% of the music I listen to) but heavyness doesn't always translate into pure agression, which I think is proven by this song.
your generation has in your face music that isn't about huggy goodness or filling a gap...but it's usually on a local underground level, much as it was in my generation, 25 years ago. i wasn't at skating rinks and all ages dance clubs bopping to madonna in the eighties, i was at afternoon all-ages shows where we'd have about 5 bands for 5 bucks screaming their rage, anger and indignation about the state of the world for 4 or 5 hours straight. there are bands doing that now...just have to look.
