Hey, can you help me out? Whilst climbing I set my aircraft up, LNAV & VNAV as well as the auto throttle but during flight the VNAV disengages and the altitude hold replaces it, as well as speed, I reselect VNAV but it does the same again

@popkamama Version 4.3 is only for fsX I think. You need to log in on captain sim's website and go to the download section.

LNAV and VNAV are only engaged once climb is established, at around 700ft LNAV can be engaged, around 1500ft VNAV. Also go to flight planner to find some runway way points so that you can plan a continuos flight path from the runway instead of having to gradually find the flight path. 10,000 ft should also be set in the MCP on the ground because that is the altitude where speed restrictions are cancelled and you can accelerate to whatever your climb speed is.

You don't need a 3rd party program. Just use the folowing keys (Different combos have different movements)

Shift+Enter= Camera up

Shift+Down=Camera Down

Control: Enter or backspace: Left/right camera movement

Control+Shift : Enter or Backspace Forward/Back Camera Movement

I don't get your question... on all planes you turn off the APU once the engines are on as they provide the electrical power to the plane. If you have an engine failure, you can always turn the APU back on, but it's just useless to leave it on at all times.

For the Rolls Royce 757, wich N2 % is suitable to switch the Fuel Control to Run?

is your IRS in the ALIGN position? when you click the knobs there it should liight up and say ALIGN then after the lights go away then you turn all 3 to the NAV position

oh ya also when you finish starting engines, turn on engine de-ice switch (if really required) just incase...and also @ the runway make sure nose gear and wing lights are on...and idk about FS9 but if not set already turn the Computer switch to auto and thrust reference to auto (one right click) and push it :)

thanks! no problem ill look at that. and with the autopilot panel, do you need to select HDG hold and ALT hold if you are using the LNAV position? b/c it messes up my ALT hold but everything else is just fine...??

When you use LNAV you can't have HDG on, if you use VNAV you must enter your altitude and descent rate.

great video and really fast computer i see!but just a tip Position lights are supposed to be on at all times until youve parked and shut down entire aircraft (for visual purposes) and i think if youre starting the left enginine first then on the hydraulic panel u go left to right (clockwise) and same w/ fuel pumps...and my Bleed air uniitt wont work...any tips?

Thanks for the info!! To connect the bleed air you need to go into the tool bar and look in the captainsim directory, it's with the ground power.

Nope, I use Walk&follow. Many people use Active Camera and find it great, I've never tried it. My specs are Intel Core Duo Quad 2,5Ghz, 2 GeForce 9800 GT in SLI, 4 mb of ram.
