You have a lot to learn about voice acting. Your putting too much emotion into it, to be Sephiroth.
You need to make it sound less emoted.
Also, a bit more depth would do you some good.

I think your voice tone is good, but it seems that you're forcing his voice a little too much. Sephiroth's voice has this calmness about, so try to calm the voice a little. trust me, i've tried this voice myself on YouTube.
BTW I've noticed that you're a member of the VAA, this is member Ovarku. don't give up mate ;).
And how exactly are professionals made? Obviously you have to work on your voice to become one. And what better way is there if you can get the critique from the viewers themselves. :3
I thought this was very good! My first videos sucked bad. Your voice is good for Sephiroth. ^_^

I disagree. George Newbern makes Sephiroth sound dark and brooding, even when he's still a good guy.
This guy makes him sound like a teenage punk who's desperately trying to sound like a bad-ass.

Thank you for the advice. To be honest this is one of my first demo-voices I tried doing. I've gotten more roles to play with while on the VAA.
