  • I bumped my baseclock on my 3930k/P9x79Delux to 125mhz with an H60 cooler and it peaked at 60C. The base clock was all I changed on it. Really though I need to learn me the science of overclocking this thing. Eventually I'll upgrade to the H100 cooler so i can run it all the time overclocked like a champ.

  • hey man, sorry if i missed it in the video, i was skippin around in it, but what do you feel is a safe MAX vcore for the 3930k, i have one running on a rampage4 4.8ghz 1.44vcore. Its a tad higher than i would prefer but im not overly worried about the voltage. There is not too much info out yet about voltages, ive read 1.4 max but ive also seen guys running near 1.5.....

  • haha...he does even need board....isn,t dangerous touch single of them?

  • @26psyside > music is under views > Satriani

  • Great video man!

BTW can you please tell me what the name of the Band/music is from? thanks!

  • well spotted man, yes i used two different RAM kits as mentioned on Gigabyte Tech Daily website i posted this on. The CPU runs super hot :(. You will notice later in the bios screen i was idling at 59C EEK. It was hitting past 80C during multi-threaded load. Watercooling is the way to go with these heat generators!

  • Hmmm you showed firstly using Corsair RAM then @ 14.25 i see Kingston Hyper X ....what temps did you hit under full load @ 4.4 Ghz on AIR.
