Chick, music IS my business. I'm a band director, graduate of an HBCU, arranger and more than allegiance to any particular band, I love *music*. So when I see it being done BADLY, instead of reinforce the stereotype that black folk only know how to blast but not make music, I'M GOING to stand up and say something about it. LOUDER is not better. Things like sonority, balance, good tone quality, intonation and other things MATTER. Love the craft, DO IT RIGHT.
