I loved this movie when I was a kid, but now that I look back on it from a 14-year-old perspective, it was rather silly. It's not a bad movie, but it was rather silly. Why were there sharks in the moat? Matches attacked Scooby-Doo repeatedly and then suddenly became friends with him for absolutely no reason, and Elsa Frankenteen sounds like a gay boy.

This is why the Hanna-Barbera sucked in the 1980s. All it was about was speed (For example in this movie, "Tempo, Tempo!") and so it just got so boring that in the 90's they wanted to stop.
