Yes, the most dangerous animals on this planet are the two-legged animals. Us human! We need to preserve the wales to keep them from becoming extinct. We hope someday to communicate with an extraterrestrial intelligence if we should ever encounter any out there in the universe. Well, learning to communicate with wales would be good practice for us, communicating with another intelligence. Who knows! We might be shocked to find out that wales are more intelligent, and we'll get schooled by them!
The fact that this only has ~10,500 views and 12 comments while the newest hit pop-song has millions is absolutely terrible. This whole Cosmos series has been an amazing inspiration for me and fuels my love for science. Thank you so much for posting them.
Totally agree. Truth is the Cosmos should have over a trillion views... Instead the nearly brain-dead masses are more adamant to view/listen to brain-numbing Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga music...
I'm not an elitist. I merely believe it's a tragedy that the majority of people refuse to focus on what's important like Science and humanitarianism, instead the many prefer to amuse themselves to death and stunt their own intellectual progress.
@jacobmorr Thats because people have become stupid nowadays, watching shit on TV instead using their brain. We let our kids have their brain degenerated from shit like Spongebob Squarepants instead of taking our time with them, raising them to people with knowledge and a sense of their surroundings. We all have become "blind" and give a shit about everything except ourselves. RIP Sagan. You are awesome

What happens when you think 1+1 = 2? I don’t know.
But, Carl Sagan’s brain is running the Russell’s Principia Mathematica. (See 32:45)
