Do you guys really think megaman would only just shoot in cqc? Gameplay wise megaman does shoot and jump but hes still fighting non the less. Cqc all the megamen would whip ass. Volnutt in tatsunoko and in his own game is strong as hell. Anyone saying hes weak dont know what they are talking about. @ChibbyTonx true every megaman can shoot but when it comes to basic abilities Volnutt can only shoot and kick (and its a pretty basic kick that can't really cause damage). Classic Mega man can slide and even charge up his gun. X can do the shoot, charge shoot and dash and in i'm pretty sure X6 onwards he can use a saber. so in actuality Mega Man X is the most compatible for a fighting game with Classic Mega Man coming in second and Volnutt being last

About X using swords, actually Trigger uses sort of a Z-Sable (called Zetsabre) and a Drill... n.nU and even though he can't charge shoots at least he can have two kind of weapons at the same time (Buster + Powered Buster or Active Buster).
nwn Sure X is more capable than him in fighting skills... but i don't see as many difference as it could be.
@ChibbyTonx true he does have Zetsabre and that does count for a lot but the drill on the other hand isn't made for combat (even in the games). and X and most mega man (not 100% sure on classic) can have 2 weapons at the same time (X with Zero's sabre and his buster gun in X6. Zero with multiple combinations of weapons which he can switch on hand. the same even apply to the protagonist of the ZX series.) and if you want differences between X and Volnutt in terms of combat compare their gameplay

The ironic thing...Megaman isn't going to be in the Ultimate MvC3 because of the creator leaving Capcom. However, they decided to leave Tron Bonne and Zero in.

Oh, awesome. It's a remix of of one of the most awesome themes of Megaman Legends, the scene where the Flutter is being chased by the Gesselschaft. And disappointingly, this song, much like the Bonne failure theme, can't be ripped from the CD, and I don't think it's part of the OST, either. =(
It isn't the best Megaman Legends song, but I still like it anyway. Megaman Volnutt is indeed cool both as gameplay-wise and as a character. And I am happy for playing and clearing both of the Megaman Legends games for the PS1. The Megaman Legends games are indeed legendary in their own rights. I don't care what the haters say. Period.

Oh, awesome. It's a remix of of one of the most awesome themes of Megaman Legends, the scene where the Flutter is being chased by the Gesselschaft. And disappointingly, this song, much like the Bonne failure theme, can't be ripped from the CD, and I don't think it's part of the OST, either. =(

It isn't the best Megaman Legends song, but I still like it anyway. Megaman Volnutt is indeed cool both as gameplay-wise and as a character. And I am happy for playing and clearing both of the Megaman Legends games for the PS1. The Megaman Legends games are indeed legendary in their own rights. I don't care what the haters say. Period.

I've said this hundreds of times before, but if Capcom's gonna keep making sequels to Rockman games, they need to fix the plot holes in the main story. Fuck X9, give us a DASH 3! And THEN an SS4! XD Sorry, but I still like Shooting Star. *awaits fanboy RAGE*

The X series ended years ago with X5. Until Capcom had to fuck it all up and make X6. (Which sucked, by the way) Zero 5 is unneeded since Zero was destroyed, a Mega Man 11 probably will be made in a year or two, and YES. Finally, someone who likes ZX.

Y'know, on the note of Legends Three, I would laugh so hard if capcom goes "Okay, here's Megaman Barrel, he's kinda like Megaman Tigger but different. His storyline is also barely relevant to that of the first two games... BUT THEY'RE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE SO THIS IS A SEQUEL, *trollfaic* PROBLEM, FANS?"

I dunno, I'm a big fan of both, Rock and Rock Volnutt.

yea at the first few seconds it doesn't sound much like it but when it gets to the middle it starts to ring a bell then turn on Cutman's them then this one after, then the entire song will sound like it

The Nintendo 64 version was a content-lessened version of the Playstation 1 game Megaman Legends, which had a sequel and a prequel besides.
This Megaman had a lot longer run than just one 64 game ;)

@RockXIII Me too, although the article made a point to tell us not to get our hopes up. The vague wording could easily be misinterpreted (they may be talking about Tron being in the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster for all we know). But let's keep our fingers crossed.
